I think one of the reasons that I chose to pursue a career in Physics was the relevance of the subject. I could grasp the concepts and see the actual effects of what I was learning. As a future teacher I believe it is important for students to see the applications of what they learn. I think that it is important to teach students concepts and equations but I hope to show students that science is more than numbers and words on a piece of paper.

As a teacher I want to share with my students the excitement of learning physics. Physics as a science attempts to make sense of the world around us. The laws and equations that physicist across history made are the attempts of curious minds to predict and record the patterns in the universe. I hope to share their curiosity with my students.
