I have a firm belief that education should be accessible for everyone. Education is a noble pursuit and is at the base of humanity and the betterment of all mankind. A teacher must be someone who works with their students to help inspire them to push the limits of their own knowledge as well as to help students find the spark of curiosity that will guide them in life. To do this teachers must provide safe learning environments in which students have room to grow and to test themselves without fearing failure but instead being able to learn from it.

To prepare for our future it's imperative that we learn from the mistakes of our past. The history of our world is vital for everyone to learn for various reasons, being able to understand the current events of today and knowing the history of said current events helps us to better map the world we live in and draw thoughtful educated conclusions about what's going on. It also allows students room to be critical of what is going around them, a skill that is valuable in a time where information is accessible within moments of an event.
