Heys! I'm Abisola Mojeed. My family is from the country Nigeria. I visited Nigeria when I was five-years-old, but I don't remember much, so I hope to visit again soon.
I was born and raised in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, where I attended Public School from Pre-K to 12th grade. In high school, I rediscovered the love of English literature and creative writing and decided to further my academia in the two majors.
I also write poetry, creative non-fiction, fiction, playwriting and other forms of espressions in Arts. I cannot wait to teach the skills that I've acquired through my own studies.

In the spring semester of 2012, I took a Writing Poetry Workshop class in England. I met aspiring poets that attended Bath Spa University in Bath, England and University of London in London, England.
I also had the liberty to stay a few days in Strafford-Upon-Avon, the birthpalce of William Shakespeare. It was a great experience.

"A ghetto can be improved in only one way: out of existence"
James Baldwin
