Multimedia Journalist, Entertainment Reporter

Throughout my beginning college stages, it was very difficult for me to find a profession that I was truly interested in. I started college as a criminal justice major but soon changed it due to my lack of interest and passion. Ever since I was a little girl, I loved talking to people and interviewing them to understand their lifestyles and interests. While doing many different types of research I was able to come to the conclusion that I wanted to be a news reporter. While following media and the entertainment trends, it sparked my attention to not just report world or local news but also fashion and entertainment news. I love being able to converse and consult with different people while keeping it professional and making the interviewee comfortable. I am interested in meeting new people and reporting their stories under their knowledge, back to my community.

I have my associates degree in liberal arts at SUNY Delhi and currently working on my bachelor's degree in multi media journalism at SUNY Plattsburgh. I am taking my journalism and communication classes in which lead up to me getting my degree. Being apart of Plattsburgh's school newspaper, Cardinal Points has helped me to get a head start in my future and expand my writing.

Focusing on positive entertainment news sparks my attention while being able to capture important information is one of the main reasons I want to be a news reporter. In the future I plan to work for huge networks such as Entertainment News or ABC News.
